He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Strube (Alice) and Alice Strube; his wife Geneva Strube (White); his brothers, Melvin Strube, Marion Strube and Dale Strube; his grandson Logan Whisenhunt; and his close friend Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Shonna Masters (Matt) of Union, Teresa King (Chris) of Bourbon, Jim Strube (Brooke) of Sullivan, Cindy Strube, Allison Strube of Sullivan and Ashley Strube; his grandchildren, Jordon Whisenhunt, Chloe Snodgrass (Jesse), Lyle Masters, Samantha Miller (Austin), Alexis Miller (Andy), Morgan Chaudhry (Lucas), Jager Miller (Lily), Ian King (Abby), Jakx Strube, Ryker Strube, Trevor Carey, Haleigh Wright, Reaghan Rector, Bayleigh Rector, Emersyn Rector, Addison Murphy, Drake Murphy, Kierstyn Kelley, Zora Spindler, Jovie Spindler, Elijah Spindler, Annette Goede, Christina Strube, James Michael Strube, Kevin Strube, Zachary Strube, Daniel Strube and Christopher Rector; his great grandchildren, Logan, Auggie, Ezra, Lola, Harrison, Nala, Charlotte, Peyton, Ethan, Kinzleigh and Lainey; and his siblings, Lee Strube (Priscilla) of Columbia and Faye Colter of New Haven. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Midlawn Funeral Home (7280 State Hwy 47, Union, MO 63084). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Bourbon Cemetery (316-324 Essman Dunn Rd, Bourbon, MO 65441).
