Rosa M. Sumpter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2025, at the age of 76, Rosa M. Sumpter of Sullivan, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Negretti and Mary Negretti (Wathen); her husband Richard Sumpter Sr.; and her parents-in-law, Don and Estelle Sumpter.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Sumpter Jr. of Sullivan, MO and Robert Sumpter (Amanda) of Sullivan, MO; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Robert Jr., Ryan, Ashley, Izac, Jordan, Zaya, Khaleesi, Crayden and Azaylia; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Roman, Paisley, Mickeal, Amelia and Valor; her brother William Negretti of Licking, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Enloe, Gayle Gawer, Debbie Lewis, Audrey Wild and Deanna Hollingshead.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home (347 N Clark St, Sullivan, MO 63080). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family welcomes memorial contributions in honor of her beloved, Richard Sumpter Sr. and her father, Louis Negretti to the Missouri Veterans Commission in recognition of her lifelong respect for service and sacrifice.
