She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Barnes (Voss) and Ernest Sr. Barnes; and her siblings, Ernest Barnes, Jr. and Betty Lawson. She is survived by: her husband Jim Thompson; her children, James "Scott" Thompson (Kat) of Ninilchik, AK, Tom Thompson (Marsha) of Union, MO and Suzanne Mills of Sullivan; her grandchildren, Max Thompson of Springfield, MO, Sam Thompson (Christine) of Union, MO, J. T. Thompson (Nikki) of Bourbon, MO, Andrew Rose of Ohio and Meghan Mills (Robby Farris) of Vandalia, MO; and her great grandchildren, Lilah, Rylen, Rex, Dominic, Remington and Brinlee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (444 Beeman St, Sullivan, MO 63080). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
