Stan Briggs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2025, at the age of 79, Stan Briggs of Sullivan, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Briggs (Zeigler) and Everette Briggs; his siblings, Albert Briggs, Earl Briggs (Esther), Ollie Fink (Terry) and Dian Cannon (Rodney); and his in-laws, Mary Briggs and Danny Kirk.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Briggs of Sullivan, MO; his children, Christine Gaskill (Don) of Sullivan, MO and Doug Briggs (Lisa) of Sullivan, MO; his grandchildren, Jennifer Scott (Robert) of Sullivan, MO, Grant Gaskill (Lauren) of Highlandville, MO, Sarah Gaskill of Sullivan, MO, Justin Briggs (Kylee) of Rogers, AR and Kaylee Sanders (Brendon) of Beaufort, MO; his great grandchildren, Barrett, Ella, Ruby, Gracie, Parker, Presley and Lucy; and his siblings, Edith Robins (Lonnie) of St. Clair, MO, John Briggs of Sullivan, MO, Carolyn Kirk of Bella Vista, AR, Bill Briggs (Phyllis) of Sullivan, MO and Wilma Robins (Lional) of St. Clair, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Testament Baptist Church (962 State Hwy AF, Sullivan, MO 63080). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
