He was predeceased by: his father Matthew Stark; and his siblings, Earnie Stark and Glenda Belew. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Calvin, Anna and Charles; his granddaughter Lily; his mother Mary Stark; and his sisters, Brenda Pitts and Kay Beason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts, and cousins.
