David Cope Obituary
We announce the death of David Cope (Summersville, Missouri), born in Conroe, Texas, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 37. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his birth mother Vicki Broxson; and his grandfathers, Robert Cope and Earl Walls. He is survived by: his father John Cope; his wife Rachel Roessler; his mother Tonya Cope of Houston, Missouri; his siblings, Heather Cope, LaTisha Thebeau of Texas, Courtney Camden of Summersville and Wyatt (Emily Brooks); and his grandmother Rosa Lea Walls of Summersville. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bradford Funeral Home (305 N Main Ave, Summersville, MO 65571). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Bethel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to Bradford Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses. Donations may be made by calling the funeral home or there will be envelopes available the day of the visitation/service.
