George Thomas Morton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Thomas Morton of Summersville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Morton and Georgia Holman (Lampkin); his wife Earlene Morton (Hood); and his siblings, Clara Cook (Alvin) and Ernie Crouch.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Taylor (Joe) and Judy Wilhelm (Chuck); his pet Tater; his sisters, Lydia "Varment" Crouch (Rip), Ada Street (Dan), Donna Dupass (Ralph) and Noel Crouch (April); his sister-in-law Pam Crouch; and his great grandchildren, Jazzymen Williams, Larrissa Corter, Trey Williams, Aleighea Cliburn, Matalyn Cliburn, Jaxsen Cliburn, Justin Taylor (Heidi), Jade Burnam (Bryan), Ayrian Burnam, Barrett Burnam, Zachary Wilhelm (Lacey), Paityn Wilhelm, Grayson Wilhelm, Tailyn Wilhelm, Marilyn Wilhelm, Benjamin Wilhelm (Aaliyah), Briggs Wilhelm and Ira Wilhelm. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church (1403 State Rte WW, Mountain View, MO 65548).
