With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Jo Thomure (Summersville, Missouri), who passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Kenny Fortune and Patty Fortune; her stepson Adam Thomure; her parents-in-law, Emmett and Roberta Thomure; and her brother-in-law Rick Thomure.

She is survived by: her husband Mike Thomure of Summersville, Missouri; her children, Katherine Pursifull (Doug) of Raymondville, Bobby Fortune of Licking, Jennifer Bever (Chad) of Licking and Christie Little (Matt) of Licking, Missouri; her stepdaughters, Amber, Kristy and Mindy; her sisters, Karen Weinberger (Mark) of Houston and Kimberly Akers (Herb) of Raymondville, Missouri; her grandchildren, Briana, Kaylee, Alyssa, Austin, Lillie, Dayllyn, Noah, Ashton and Kinlee; her great grandchildren, Ember, Scout and Hallie; her mother Jean Cole of Raymondville, Missouri; and her aunt Jewell Lovins of Doniphan, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
