It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Kay Gustafson of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Paula Kay shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Paula Kay farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Allen and Evelyn Ruth VanDePol (Peck); and her brother Marvin VanDePol. She is survived by: her boyfriend Rob Ambuul of Sunrise Beach, MO; and her siblings, Dale VanDePol (Ginger) of Pleasant Hope, MO, Shirley Bauer (Chris) of Stratford, IA, Mark VanDePol (Crystal) of Sioux City, IA and Mike VanDePol (Bobbi) of Gravois Mills, MO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and one great great niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1400 IA-175, Stratford, IA 50249). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
