He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Payne and Mary Payne (Powell); his in-laws, Doyle and Frances Bailey; and his brother-in-law Todd Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Mindy Payne (Bailey); his pet Molly; his siblings, Richard Payne (Jackie) and Linda Hanson; his siblings-in-law, Missy Dawson (James) and Mike Bailey; and his close friends, Rod, Shari Witt, Mitch, Michele Cooper, Jerry and Sherri Krause.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Centerville (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544).
