Though William may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Harris Combs and Irene Lucille Combs; his wife Sunny; and his sister Jean Daly. He is survived by: his sons, Tim Combs (Shannon), Scott Combs (Wendy), Rob Compton (Doris) of Washington, Missouri and Rick Compton (Julie) of Asheville; and his sister Jane Lindsey of Plano, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
