He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Elam and Lilly Elam (Leonard); his son David McCoy Elam; and his brother Buck Elam. He is survived by: his wife Anna L. Elam; his children, Jeremiah Elam and Faith; his children-in-law, Scott Chambers and Jessica Elam; his sister Anna; his brother-in-law Tim Alexander; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Courtney, Maddy, Blake, Emma and Randi. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services (416 N Commercial St, Crocker, MO 65452). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
