He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edith Eckhoff; his sons, Jon Alan Delventhal and Paul Richard Delventhal (Melody); his granddaughters, Emily Sandra Prothe (Justin) and Megan Irene Fleming (Nathan); and his great grandchild Tatum Rae Prothe.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (7500 Oak St, Kansas City, MO 64114). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (405N N Mulberry St, Sweet Springs, MO 65351).
