He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Harold "Shorty" and Claire Ilene Hendrix (Johnson); and his siblings, James "Elrod" Hendrix, Harold Lawrence "Larry" Hendrix, Carrol Bruntmyer, Joyce Ann Young and Bonnie Crum.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Marie Paris; his children, Jason Hendrix (Gina), Misty Hendrix (Randy Keever) and Stacey Keeler (Randy); and his sisters, Helen Runnels of Mound City, Karen Sipes of St. Joseph and Sandy Cochran of Maryville. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
