It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa A. Hackamack of Taylor, Missouri, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Melissa find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her mother Joyce Taute (Windoffer). She is survived by: her father Larry Taute; her husband Lucas Hackamack; and her brother Brian Taute. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home (823 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a fund to be established for her son, Hunter in the care of Lucas Hackamack.
