He was predeceased by : his mother Myrtle Collins Ivey; his wife Ruby Jean Steed (Cook); his son Larry Edward; his grandson Michael Wayne; his sister Clara; his aunts, Eliza Pliler, Helen Madden, Virgie Johnson and Wilma Irene Simms; his uncle Everett Bettigrew; and his daughter-in-law Margaret Steed.

He is survived by : his children, Charles (Donna) of Thayer, Jerry (BJ) of Mountain Home, Barbara of West Plains, Kevin (Lana) of Mammoth Spring and Kelly (Angela) of Thayer.
