She was predeceased by: her father Truman Raley; her great-grandparent Eric; her husband Dave Norman; and her son Paul David Norman. She is survived by: her mother Bessie Raley (McGuire); her children, Deborah Ann Mitchener (Patrick) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Nancy Norman of Kansas City, Missouri and Mark Elton Norman (Shelia) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Michelle Leigh Laws (James) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Matthew Alan Mitchener (Hailey) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Whitney Curtis (Eric) of Killeen, Texas, Kirsten Brook Slusher (Keenan) of Roanoke, Virginia and Jillian Olivia Norman of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Myka, Alexa, Luke, Hadden Laws, Tyler, Kipton Mitchener and Quinn Slusher; and her great-grandparent Whitney Curtis. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel of Thayer, Missouri (827 Chestnut St, Thayer, MO 65791). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the New Salem Cemetery of Couch, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alton Church of Christ, 1571 RR71, Alton, Missouri, 65606 Officiating will be Minister Arvil Hill and Minister Dennis Willard, eulogist will be Michelle Laws, obituary read by Steve Biffle, and singers will be Van and Betsy McGibney and James McGuire.
