He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Pearson and Pauline Pearson (Elting); his siblings, Shirley Harris and Billie Joe Harris; his nephew Daniel Pearson; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Lawson and Frank Harris.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Pearson (Nancy), Wanda Harris, Bulah Lawson and Hazel Wilson; and his cousins, Jim Elting and Suzy Elting. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
