She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Benton and Vida Mary Maggard (Briggle); her husband Paul Evans; her children, Jerry Patrick, Starla Rene Masters and Ramona Lynn Pippin; her siblings, Eugene, Cecil, Joe, Esther, Bootsie, Roy, Eddie and James; and her grandchildren, Justin, Tiffany and Marsha.

She is survived by: her sons, Gene, Michael (Starla) and Gregory. She is also survived by her granddaughter and husband that cared for her, Felicia and Daniel Collins, many other grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great- great- great grandchildren.
