We announce the death of Sue Prestage of Tipton, Missouri, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 93. Sue will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Ellsworth and Ruth Irma Pickens (Reister); her husband Max Prestage; and her granddaughter Angela Marie Milligan. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Milligan (Gary) of Tipton, Sherri Prestage Emery of Jefferson City and Linda Brandt (Keith) of Haslet, TX; her grandchildren, Travis Milligan, Jared Milligan, Zachary Milligan, Tara Van Loo (Brad), Jesse Wiedmaier (Brian), Amy West (Aaron), Seth Emery (Olivia), Aleigha Lowy (Brian) and Logan Brandt (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Braxton, Hudson Milligan, Brodyn, Cambri, Berkley Van Loo, Kora, Max, Aubrie Wiedmaier, Bingham, Tucker West, Cohen, Emersyn Emery, Kendall Brandt-Lowy and Josephine Brandt; and her brothers, Bill Pickern (Janice) of Orleans, IN and Tom Pickens (Phyllis) of Tipton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church (323 S Osage Ave, Tipton, MO 65081). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tipton Masonic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Christian Church or the Price Jame Library.
