She was predeceased by: her parents, Cortland VanArsdale and Leta VanArsdale (Powell); her husband Bart Shaw of Year's Eve; her grandson Trey Shaw; and her siblings, Gwen Hunsicker and Harvey VanArsdale.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Shaw of Trenton, Missouri, D. J. Hopkins (Darrell) of Trenton and Teresa Stephenson of Trenton, Missouri. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
The inurnment was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coon Creek Cemetery (750 Crow Ln, Trenton, MO 64683). Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Galt Christian Church (209 NW Border St, Galt, MO 64641).
