She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Alvin and Iva Myrtle Foster (Stottlemyre); her husband Harold Hughes (Rip); her daughter-in-law Ann Hughes; and her siblings, R. A. Foster and Orel Clayton Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Binney (Richard) of Lee's Summit, Vickie Bowe (Charles), James Hughes of Lee's Summit and Chuck Hughes; and her brother Gary Foster (Maxine).
The family requests memorials be made to either North 65 Center (the area's Senior Center) or Sunnyview Nursing Home Foundation, in Jean's memory.
