He was predeceased by: his parents, James Phillip Sr. and Mary Irene Manuel (Gray); his wife Jerri Elaine Drake; and his sisters, Mary Ann Somerville and Rita Burgess.

He is survived by: his children, Robin Brown (Mike) of Great Falls, MT and Rick Manuel (Kimberly) of Knob Noster, MO; his brother Robert Manuel of Trenton; his grandchildren, Eric (Tiffani), Rachel Brown, Scott Manuel (Courtney) and Virginia McKeehan (Mason); and his great grandchild Darline.

Memorial donations are suggested to either St. Jude's or Edinburg Baptist Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
