It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Tuttle of Trenton, Missouri, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melvin Tuttle to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Leroy and Wanda Maxine Tuttle (Cooper); his wife Joyce Ann McAtee; his brother Larry Tuttle; and his granddaughter Charly DeVorss.
He is survived by: his pet Shilo; his children, Deleta Foster (Ronnie), Sarah DeVorss (Joe), Quinn Allen of Trenton and Gary Tuttle (Krystal) of California, MO; his siblings-in-law, Julie Tuttle, Connie McCloud and Melvin McCloud; and his grandchildren, Vanessa Kelly, Hillary Allen, Elizabeth Dollins, Dustin Foster (Danielle), Emily Cox, Joseph DeVorss (Megan), Paige Orndorff (Michael), Wynne DeVorss, Amber Calivere, Aaron Tuttle, Samuel Tuttle, Tristen Tuttle, Trinity Mehmert and Lillian Wolfe.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683).
Memorial donations are suggested to the Grundy County Wildlife Rehabilitation and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
