With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Wells of Troy, Missouri, born in Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene Wells to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Newt Gossett and Ida Gossett; her siblings, Helen and Lee Gossett; her nephews, Richard, Robert and Wayne Gossett; and her niece Marilyn Gossett.

She is survived by : her significant other James S. Wells of Troy; her children, Debbie Penrod (Dale) of Branson, Allison Emerick (Steve) of Maryland Heights and Clay Wells (Kelly) of Branson; her grandchildren, Dana Edwards, Megan Bligh (Ben), Madison Moulty (Mike), Ashleigh Wells and Tyler Buessink; and her stepgrandchildren, Alexa, Jade and Justin Strader.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Darlene's name to The Alzheimer's Association.
