With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Jane Johnson of Troy, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Irene McCafferty (Newberry) and Harry Leroy McCafferty, Jr.; and her brother Harry "Buddy" Leroy McCafferty III. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Albert McCafferty of Bowling Green, MO and Corey Lee Johnson (Maci) of Bowling Green, MO; her siblings, Sharon Kiderlen of Troy, MO, Patricia Hohensee of Mount Vernon, MO, Barbara McCafferty of St. Charles, MO, Dennis McCafferty of Springfield, MO, Ronald Joseph McCafferty (Pattie) of Winfield, MO, Susie McCafferty of Moscow Mills, MO, Marilyn Crider of St. Louis, MO, Cheryl Oxsalida (Ken) of Sebring, FL, Darrell McCafferty of Troy, MO, John Robert McCafferty (Gail) of Warrenton, MO and James Richard McCafferty (Kathy) of Moscow Mills, MO; her sister-in-law Gail Ann Hollingsworth McCafferty of New Florence; and her grandchildren, Brayden, Kylee and Waylon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel - Troy (351 Monroe St, Troy, MO 63379). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
