He was predeceased by: his parents, W. K. Luck and Isabelle Luck (Gentry); his aunt Mary B. Cannon; his brother Joel Luck; and his parents-in-law, J. W. and Helen Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Luck of Troy, Missouri; his daughters, Michelle Pruitt of Troy, Brenda Schulte (Kevin) of Old Monroe and Julie Schlote (Frank) of Troy, Missouri; his grandchildren, Blaine Erp, Cody Pruitt, Danielle Schulte, Casie Pruitt, Zach Schulte, Jay Hagemeier and Gentry Schlote; his great grandchildren, Legend and Sky; and his brother Lynn Luck (Norma). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
