He was predeceased by: his mother Carmel Ashley (Brown); and his sisters, Kathryn Elseworth (Burl), Edith Richardson (Donald), Helena Jumper (Hulsey) and Barbara Brown (Samuel).
He is survived by: his father Otto Ashley; his siblings, Gayle Ashley (Vida), Carolyne Sissom (Ken) and Ronnie Ashley; his children, Paula Martin (Edgar), Laura Schuerger, Jeff Ashley (Jill) and Jeni Young (Jim); his grandchildren, Ashley (Scooter), Josh (Skeeter), Kevin (Mouse), Katie (Nubbins), Hannah (Kitten) and Jackson (Bear); his great grandchildren, Eva and Violet; and his pet Pop.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory (1304 Boone St, Troy, MO 63379). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
