He was predeceased by: his father Paul; his parents-in-law, Eldon and Evelyn Kuhn; his sister Kathy Ann; and his nephew Brent Grapperhaus.
He is survived by: his wife Carma Kuhn; his siblings, Tom Meyer, Rodney Meyer (Gerlene), Greg Meyer (Deb), Ray Meyer, Sharon Frank (Dennis Dunnill), Janet Grapperhaus (Dan), Mary Strake (Steve), Paul Meyer (Gina) and Barb Ratermann (Randy); and his siblings-in-law, Shawn Kuhn, Shelley Jones, Kelly Obryan and Carla Rohan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Nordike Funeral Home (150 N Clinton St, Breese, IL 62230). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at the St. Augustine Cemetery (525 S 3rd St, Breese, IL 62230).
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other memorial items, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the family's choosing, checks payable to Carma Meyer and will be received at the funeral home.
