She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Wheatcraft and Mary Alice Wheatcraft (Enoch); her parents-in-law, Robert Lee Stone and Helen Elizabeth Stone (Paulsgrove); her brothers, Benjamin Jackson "Jack" Wheatcraft, Gerald Eugene Wheatcraft and Thomas J. Wheatcraft; and her husband Melvin Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Sue "Debbie" Henke (Ben) of Silex, MO and Terry Wayne Stone (Dawn) of Eolia, MO; her grandchildren, Aaron Henke (Katie), Madison Heischmidt (Ryan), Brian Henke (Megan), Nathan Stone and Nicholas Stone (Emily Gray); her great grandchildren, Oliver, Jasper, Abigail Henke, Stevie Lee Stone and Joshua Heischmidt; her brother William Lee "Bill" Wheatcraft (Peggy) of Kansas City, MO; and her sister-in-law Karen Wheatcraft of Brookfield, MO. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home (107 S 5th St, Elsberry, MO 63343). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
