She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clark and Ina Clark (Elliott); her husband James Parton; her son Jimmy "Dolly" Parton; and her siblings, J. R., Mary, Earl and Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hollis (Mickey) of Troy, MO, David Parton (Melanie) of Casa Grande, AZ, Deborah Wendt of Troy, MO and Tammy Parton of Murrieta, CA; and her brothers, Roy and Gary Clark. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
