She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard N. Parkey and Clara B. Parkey (Dowell); her husband Ray Schnitker; and her siblings, Harold, Chester, Howard (Bud), Roger Parkey, Lorraine Clement, Eva Sanson and Laveene Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Hutchcraft (Ernest), Douglas Schnitker (Rhonda), Janet Smith (William) and Donald Schnitker (Dee Ann); her grandchildren, Bradley Hutchcraft, Scott Hutchcraft (Beth), Lisa Farmer (Chad), Michael Smith, Phillip Schnitker (Jessica), Henry Schnitker (Brianne), Mitchell Schnitker (Shelby), Caitlin Thompson (Brent) and Evan Schnitker; her great grandchildren, Holden, Maddox Farmer, Reid, Myles Smith, Nathan, Matthew, Emily Schnitker, Gabby, Danica Schnitker, Bryson, Bailey Hutchcraft and Lucy Thompson; and her sister-in-law Doris Parkey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave, Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Union Star Cemetery.
