He is survived by: his wife Nedra Verge of Union; his sons, Douglas Verge (Wendy) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Clinton Verge (Tammy) of Huntsville, AL; his sister Rolleen Boling of Muskogee, OK; his grandchildren, Ryan Verge (Naomi) of Clovis, Rebekah Verge of Kansas City, MO, Aaron Verge (Hannah) of Kingsland, GA, Austin Verge of Cedar Rapids, IA, Logan Verge of Cedar Rapids, IA and Cameron Verge of Cedar Rapids, IA; his great grandchildren, Renesmee and Lydia; and his nieces, Joyce Skaggs and Mary Asher. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to St. Paul Lutheran Church are preferred.
