Bonita Karen Bolte Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonita Karen Bolte of Union, Missouri, born in Beaufort, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Bolte and Gladys Bolte; her siblings, Gary Bolte and Marta Bolte; and her brother-in-law Glen Pohlmann.
She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Pohlmann (Dale) of Beaufort, Janice Pohlmann of Beaufort, Carol Mangrum (Steve) of Eureka, Ellen Bolte of Beaufort, Glenn Bolte of Beaufort, Galen Bolte of Beaufort and Greg Bolte (Amy) of Beaufort; and her sister-in-law Brenda Bolte of Union. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (2149 Lutheran Church Rd, Beaufort, MO 63013). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Beaufort or to the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network.
