She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewald Scheer and Eunice Scheer; her parents-in-law, Henry and Myrtle Soetebier; her sister Peggy Owens (Gary Owens); her sister-in-law Charlotte Conway; her nephew Steven Owens; and her godchild Jordan Scheer.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Soetebier of Union; her daughters, Angela McDonnell (Timothy) of Dardenne Prairie, MO, Sarah Sullentrup (Scott) of Washington, MO and Melissa Nordmann (Daniel) of Dardenne Prairie, MO; her grandchildren, Alec Sullentrup (Rebecca), Kelsey Sullentrup, Corey McDonnell, Rachel McDonnell, Paige Sullentrup, Dylan Nordmann, Lauren McDonnell, Domenic Nordmann and Tanner Pedersen (Madison); her sibling's children, Shelly Owens (John) and Drake Owens; her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Carey, Doris Grannemann (Wayne) of Hermann, MO, Kathy Reed (Gary) of Washington, MO, David Soetebier (Sandy) of Affton, MO and Dennis Soetebier (Elizabeth) of Union, MO; and her godsons, Randy Eickmeyer, Michael Soetebier and Robert Soetebier. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
