He was predeceased by : his parents, John Grannemann and Barbara Karns. He is survived by : his children, John, Adam, Zachary Grannemann, Emma and Nevaeh Grannemann; his siblings, Thomas Grannemann (Laura), Lance Neier, Holly Grannemann and Catrina Childers (Aaron); and his nieces and nephews, Skyler Zwilling, Haley Grannemann, Harley Zwilling, Travis Grannemann and Tyler Childers. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
