He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil James Brown and Bertha Ann Teuteberg (Roderique); his wife Eleanor "Penny" Brown; his in-laws, August, Florene Homeyer (Meise) and Homeyer; his stepmother Blanche Brown (Lemon); his daughter-in-law Sandee Brown; his siblings, Junior Brown and Sue Lowe (Bob); his grandson Jerod Brown; and his great grandchild Hayden Specker.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Brown of Washington, Rick Brown of Washington, Jeff Brown of Washington, Michelle Brown of St. Louis and Steve Brown (Becky) of Washington; his grandchildren, Clarissa Specker (Tommy), Katie Rendon (Jonathan), Jenn Brown (Nick Brobst), Jess McGuire (Micah) and Abby Brown (Austin Weiss); and his great grandchildren, Sofia and Emma Specker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Midlawn Funeral Home (7280 State Hwy 47, Union, MO 63084). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Midlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (7280 State Hwy 47, Union, MO 63084).
