The memory of Cody James Fischer of Union, Missouri, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 38, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He is survived by : his parents, James Fischer (Sheryl) of Union and Angie Thornton (Steven) of Union; his grandmother Mary Kamper of Union; his stepgrandparents, Ken and Mary Sisemore of Lexington, MO; his sister Kayla Fischer; his half-sister Chelsea Dierkes (Henry); his stepsiblings, Jeremy Michaels (Apryl McGill), Jennifer Lewis (Adam), Jonathan Mitchell (Liz Basler), Rachel Pelton (Joe), Casey Thornton (Eliza) and Mike Thornton (Elaina Starnes); and his niece KayLee Cartwright. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home - Union (103 N Church St, Union, MO 63084). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
