He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Mattingly and Clarence Mattingly; and his brother Darwin Mattingly. He is survived by: his wife Joan Kern Mattingly; and his sister Ruthann Mueller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Immaculate Conception Church, or the Alzheimer's Association.
