Jacquelyn Jany Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacquelyn Jany in Union, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her father Marvin; her husband Russell Jany of Michael's Catholic Church; her mother Alberta Heckwolf; her brother Robert Heckwolf; her parents-in-law, Constantine and Alma; and her siblings-in-law, Danny Jany, Earl Jany, Cleve Jany, David Parker, Joe Gerold, Ann Heckwolf, Janell Mueth and Nina Gerold.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Jany of Columbia, MO and Barb Hedges (Scott) of Highlands Ranch, CO; her grandchildren, Amanda Hedges of Highlands Ranch, CO, Jeff Hedges of Highlands Ranch, CO and Andrew Hedges of Highlands Ranch, CO; and her siblings-in-law, Faye Parker of Waterloo, IL, Jean Jany of Paderborn, IL, Norma Saxton of Waterloo, IL, Dianne Jany of Paderborn, IL, Diane Boeschert of New Athens, IL and Merle Jany (Barb) of Paderborn, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (105 E Main St, Union, MO 63084). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery (4576 Buss Branch Rd, Waterloo, IL 62298).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Croix Hospice.
