He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Bowen and Betty Bowen (Borden). He is survived by: his wife Irene Harvell; his children, Cindy Lawson of Texas, James A. Bowen of Villa Ridge, MO, Denise Reeves (Steven) of Belleville, IL, Angela Coleman of Bonne Terre, MO, Joseph Eckert (Kelly) of Florissant, MO and Wendy Toettcher (Matt) of Desoto, MO; and his brother William Bowen of Osage Beach, MO. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
