She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Grimm, Jeanne Crotser, Janet Chrun (Gary), Larry Ferro (Beverly) and Steve Ferro (Gig). She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Joan chose to donate her body to the Washington University School of Medicine — a fitting final contribution after a lifetime dedicated to service and education.
