We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2022, at the age of 82, Leona Rose (Overschmidt) Collins of Union, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer David Overschmidt and Viola Leona Overschmidt; her sons, Patrick and Kent Collins; and her siblings, Francis Overschmidt and Linda Rohrer.

She is survived by : her children, Dana Collins (Richard Melvin) of Duluth, MN, Connie Collins of New Haven, MO, Nadine Pfeiffer (Bruce) of Edwardsville, IL, John Collins (Becky) of Union, MO, Lance Collins (Angela) of St. Clair, MO, Shane Collins (Donna) of St. Clair, MO and Sharon Helling (John) of Union, MO; her grandchildren, Matthew Turner (Kristen), Megan Pfeiffer, Nathaniel, Daniel, Josie, Bryce, Adrianna, Luke Collins, Natalie, Madelyn and Sophia Helling; her great grandchildren, Braylen and Brendal Turner; her sister Jerrine Lindemann (Joe) of St. Clair, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Dianne Overschmidt and Jay Rohrer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Union, MO.
