She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Nielsen and Evelyn Nielsen (Jensen); her husband Vernon Meyer; her stepmother Dorothy Nielsen; her sister Maryann Miller; and her nephew Todd Nielsen.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Meyer (Cari) of Phoenix, Linda Schattgen (Tom) of Lonedell and Dave Meyer (Ginger) of Lohman, Missouri; her brothers, Ronald Nielsen (Donna) of Hamlin, Iowa, Paul Nielsen (Michelle) of Hamlin, Iowa and Robert Nielsen (Kristi) of Hamlin, Iowa; her grandchildren, Greg Schattgen (Krysten), Derek Meyer (Venea), Matt Schattgen (Ashley), Brian St (Kandace), Jason Meyer (Sarah), Ellie St (David Martinez), Lydia Meyer (Andrew Fleming) and Jackson Meyer (Lily Rohlfing); her great grandchildren, Everett, Lucas, Abigail, Barrett, Dean, Bryce, Dybala, Nelli, Warren, Mason, Morgan and Jocelyn; and her brother-in-law Mark Miller (Cindy) of Audubon, Iowa. She is also survived by relatives and wonderful friends.
