He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Hennessey; his parents, Thomas J. Hennessey and Alice Hennessey; his sister Colleen Hennessey; his grandson Paul Recker; and his son-in-law Ronald Recker.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Alice Recker of Portageville, MO, Colleen Ann Motz (Steve) of Labadie, MO, Patricia Marie Smyre of Union, MO, Thomas Michael Hennessey (Michelle) of Manchester, MO, Kevin Joseph Hennessey (Linda) of Sunrise Beach, MO and Timothy James Hennessey (Rita) of Kirkwood, MO; and his grandchildren, Katy Beardslee (Eric), Maureen Gist (Quentin), Michelle Hafley (Clinton), Erin Hennessey, Colin Hennessey (Taylor Nicholson), Rachel Burcham (Allen), Luke Hennessey and Dr. Sarah Hennessey. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
