He was predeceased by: his father Ned Lane; his wife Judy Lane; his mother Fern Lane (Ragan); his siblings, Herb Lane, Harold Lane, Bill Lane, Jim Lane, Frank Lane, Katherine Berger (Lane), Janet Elsey (Lane) and June Shockey (Lane); his siblings-in-law, Cleo Lane, Bob Young, Clarence Howard, Harold Elsey and Bob Arnold; and his siblings' children, Jerome "Lucky" Lane, Allen Berger, Paul Berger and Jean Dibble (Elsey).

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Head (Lewis) of Unionville, Timmy Bunnell of Unionville, Bobbie Lair (Kevin) of Unionville and Kerrie Rose (Aaron) of Columbia, MO.; his grandchildren, Amanda Pipes (Nathan), Kaylynn Head, Kaleb Head, Bryce Bunnell, Chanse Lair, Harrison Rose and Henry Rose; his great grandchild Creed Pipes; and his siblings, Ann Young, Mary Lou Arnold, Fran Wahl (Harley) and Joe Lane (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
