He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Jerry Coon; and his grandparents, Irene, Paul Kessler, Judith and Maurice Sternberg.

He is survived by: his parents, Eric Sternberg and Madeline Sternberg of Sarasota, FL; his wife Katie; his children, Ellington, Ellary and Endy; his sister Amanda Pearce (Brendan) of Sarasota, FL; his nephews, Parker Pearce, Chase Hayes, Brody Hayes and Zeb Wilson; his niece Paiton Brewer; and his sisters-in-law, Dawn Hayes, Casey Stiles and Lindsey Wendt.
