He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Herschel and Ocal Pinson; his sister Rose Lowe; his brother-in-law James Lowe; and his sister Maxine Shonts.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Pinson (Unionville Christian Church); his children, Alan Burkhiser (Melissa) of Milo, IA, Paula Robbins (Rick) of Unionville, MO, Scot Burkhiser (Chrissie) of Memphis, MO, Amy Cullum of Unionville, MO and Devin Burkhiser (Amber) of Unionville, MO.; and his grandchildren, Sara (Matt), Britni (James), Emily (Rick), Ryan (Taffi), Chelsea (Arabelle), Kyler, Jerzi, Michalyn, Karson, Riley, Parker and Asher. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
