She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Bierman; her parents, Saul L. Rubin and Rebecca Rubin (Peggy); and her sister Barbara Margulis (Alan). She is survived by: her sister Ruthellyn Roufa; her sons, Fred Bierman (Stephanie Cobin) and Jon Bierman; her stepdaughter Alexis Bierman Hafken; her grandson Sam Bierman; and her stepgrandchildren, David (Lynnette), Robert, Michael Hafken (Tina), Sean Kagan (Arata), Madison and Joelle Rubeli. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, step-great-grandchildren, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to The Arthur & June R. Bierman Hematology Research Fund at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation, or to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, or to the charity of your choice.
