She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Phillips; her brother Erwin Schawacker, Jr. (late Joan Hadden); her sons, John and Daniel Phillips; her parents, Erwin Schawacker and Gertrude Schawacker; and her grandmother Great'.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Pettit (Phil), Richard Phillips (Ruth) and Anne Fugel; and her grandchildren, Zach Pettit (Bridgette Edghill), Leslie Stoehner (Tim), Maggie (Marty), Susie Ackley (Sean), Jenny Hushion (Mike), Rick Phillips (Morgan), Matt Phillips (Mackenzie), Teresa Phillips, Kristen Searcy (Evan), Jeffrey Phillips, Kassidy Phillips, Laura Kuhn, Katie Biere (Brad), Jessica Phillips, Katherine Fugel and Caroline Fugel. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
